Poppy Rose McDonald is a Lancashire born, Manchester based, full-time artist. Through her prefered medium of oil paint, Poppy captures inimate real-life scenes, moments, and memories.

Her passion for painting started at age 4 during the time of her first autism assessment.By the time she was offically diagnosed 10 years later, her passion still remained for painting. At 14, Poppy began experimenting with oil paint, this is a skill that she has since dedicated her life to refining.

Poppy uses painting as an outlet for mental health struggles, she was recently diagnosed with Bipolar disorder. Much of her inspiration stems from the reality and experience of living with bipolar and autism.
